This DVD about the 4th Armored Division takes place in World War II during the Fall of 1944, Europe.

The 4th Armored Division had no nickname, they felt that "4th Armored" was name enough. On August 13th, 1944 the 4th Armored, was fighting in the VIII Corps as part of the U.S. Third Army and was containing the city of Lorient while "Combat Command A" was dispatched to take Nantes on the Brittany peninsula.

The contents of this video show the action as was recorded by the 166th Signal Photo Company, during this historic operation. The military history footage in this video is intended to be strictly that of the 4th Armored Division and only shows other unit footage when two or more units are intertwined.
